El número 6 de la revista Critical Currents recoge intervenciones que contribuyen a la re-conceptualización del cambio climático como una cuestión de justicia, y por tanto, de lucha. Además, busca fortalecer una política climática y energética que sea capaz de resolver las múltiples crisis a las que nos enfrentamos…

El clima está cambiando en más de un sentido. No sólo tiene una creciente concentración de gases de efecto invernadero en la atmósfera causando estragos en toda la biosfera, sino también ha habido un cambio significativo en la manera en la que la cuestión del cambio climático es objeto de debate.

Las contribuciones de este volumen tratan de fortalecer la conciencia de las cuestiones clave y de la necesidad urgente de iniciativas y compromisos más allá de un lugar o un momento específico en el tiempo. Dan testimonio de la necesidad de un cambio de mentalidad y la aplicación de nuevos paradigmas, así como de la urgencia de un compromiso de la mayoría de los políticos como representantes de los gobiernos y Estados especialmente a nivel de gobernanza global.
